Built for the Nairobi household
We started SupaSoko because buying food staples in Nairobi shouldn't be this hard — or this expensive.
Wholesale prices for every household, not just traders
Nairobi's wholesale markets have always offered the best prices — but only traders could access them. They buy in bulk, they get the deals. Households buy in small quantities from supermarkets and dukas, and pay more.
SupaSoko changes that. We aggregate demand from hundreds of households, buy at wholesale, and pass the savings directly to you. You get the same prices a trader pays — delivered to your door, ordered in two minutes on WhatsApp.
Our values
Fairness first
Wholesale prices shouldn't be a privilege. Every household deserves access to the same deals that traders get.
Radical simplicity
No app. No account. No decision fatigue. We believe ordering groceries should take two minutes, not twenty.
Reliability over hype
We'd rather deliver the same basket on time, every week, than promise novelty and disappoint.
Rooted in Nairobi
We source locally, hire locally, and build for the specific realities of Nairobi households — not a generic African market.
From a WhatsApp group to a grocery service
SupaSoko started in 2023 when our founder noticed that every household in his estate was individually making the same trip to the market every week — each paying retail prices, each carrying heavy bags, each spending 2–3 hours they didn't have.
The solution was obvious: pool the orders, buy wholesale, deliver together. What started as a WhatsApp group for 12 neighbours in Kasarani has grown into a service delivering to hundreds of households across Nairobi.
We're still early. But we're building something that we believe every Nairobi household will rely on — a predictable, affordable way to stock your kitchen, every week.
